The Nibelheim assignment.
3. Tori Amos - "Here. In My Head"
Love triangles aren’t all they’re cracked up to be. Sad, haunting, and maybe just a little desperate. (My Vincent one-shot “...Up” was inspired by and was basically meant to correlate to this song. If you happen to care.)
Sad and haunting has progressed into mildly unsettling.
Vincent might call it a love song. Lucrecia might call it creepy and disturbing.
6. Garbage - "#1 Crush"
Because it isn’t true love until it’s obsessive and self-destructive.
And, oh, does it ever. (My TsengxAeris one-shot "Let’s Dance" was partially inspired by this. Again, if you care.)
Something is seriously off here, and it isn’t just the music.
Meet your new roommates.
Harsh, gritty, relentless guilt. You fucked up, Vincent. You fucked up big time.
And good luck sleeping it off, with dreams like those.
Nightmares and resignation, all through Nibelheim.
