Title:  Soft Mistakes
Fandom:  Final Fantasy VII (OGC)

Rating:  PG (I guess?  Maybe PG-13?  There's no swearing or anything, but things aren't exactly sunshine and honey.)
Notes:  7 tracks, one in .wma, one in .m4a, and the rest in .mp3.  Total run time: 28:00.

For some reason, I’ve always had a soft spot for Lucrecia (and Hojo--maybe just to spite the haters).  She’s just so flawed and tragic to me.  Not evil, just misguided.  In love with her work a little too much.  She made mistakes.  She's human.

And I guess I've always wanted to do a fanmix, so here we go.  My Lucrecia EP, if you will.  (I've got a Vincent LP in the works.)

Instrumental intro.  Soft, gentle, and maybe even a little haunting.

Full of promise, but perhaps a bit too scientific for her own good.

3. Goldfrapp - "Human"
Unfortunately, there’s no rule that says the person you love has to be good for you.  (Also served as inspiration for my Vincent/Lucrecia/Hojo fic by the same title.  Again, if you happen to care.)

4. Frou Frou - "Psychobabble"
Mr. Valentine...your "love" is starting to scare me.  And stay out of my personal business, please thank you.

5. Björk - "Lilith"
Spooky, trippy, Jenova-flavored pregnancies.  Maybe this was a bad idea after all.

6. Vienna Teng - "My Medea"
Regret gnaws madly and incessantly.

7. Tori Amos - "Spark"
"Vincent...won’t you please tell me?  If Sephiroth is still alive?..."
