It's a writing meme!

Post a single sentence from each WIP you have (or as many as you want to pick). No context, no explanations, no more than one sentence!
I did this meme once before, and it was interesting to see how many of those lines actually ended up changed/removed from the final, posted versions. So there's a bit of that contributing to my doing it again. But mostly, I'm simply bored and I want an easy meme.
1. "The piano gets more abuse," he admits.
2. "West, tell this pansy-ass to gimme a cigarette."
3. His name is Klaus, and he never properly announces visitors.
4. "More than it did for you," he mutters, under his breath and barely audible.
5. He doesn't know where the time goes, but too soon it is the afternoon, and he must prepare himself for the day.
6. "War, then," she said, almost not recognizing her own voice, it was so frightfully calm and resolute.
7. "I could call Liet over and we could totally make out for you," Poland tries.

Date: 2010-10-25 03:23 pm (UTC)Oh... =^^= I hardly get as many compliments as that, but thank you so much! I have the same atrocious habit of not commenting, actually. (You'd think it would be different, seeing as how I'm also a writer, and writers are all
not-so-secretly all "COMMENTS COMMENTS COMMENTS OM NOM NOM," but...yeah, I'm still lame and don't do it nearly as much as I should.) So thank you again! Hearing someone enjoys my writing so much never fails to make me a squishy, flattered mess. And kitties! :DDD
