I am suddenly convinced that the OC!Czech Republic (formerly Bohemia) is a nerdy science chick.  Who has a great love of blowing things up while experimenting.

In fact, her associations with Austria while under Habsburg rule is probably why his baking sometimes results in explosions.  It just sorta rubbed off.

Ha, that would so be the case wouldn't it? And it works too.

What would be Czech's relationship to Austria, considering it wasn't a country until after World War 1? (Assuming of coarse that Czech and Slovakia are two different characters)

Probably just a servant, like Italy or Hungary. A servant who constantly gave Austria heart attacks with her explosions, to the point where he wondered why he even bothered to keep her in his empire. XD I admit I don't have a lot of the details worked out or anything--it was just something that struck when I was reading about the Czech Republic.
