Just a list of Trek fics I've found about the web (and enjoyed enough to want to list somewhere, altogether, for convenience and whatnot). May be added to in the future, we'll see. There's a lot of Data, because I like Data. (Note, I've already made a list of Lore fics, which can be found here.)
TNG
A 62-Day Study of the Human Grieving Process, by sloanesomething. Unrated, but I'd say it's PG-ish. Data, after Tasha's death. Quite possibly my favorite Data fic ever. (Archive.is link.)
Skin of Evil, by Tony Vernon-Smith. PG-13. Immediately after Tasha's death, Data wonders: Why do people always wait until after a person is gone to say all the important things? A sad but beautiful piece. Perhaps a little (just a little) OOC at times, but not enough to detract from the overall enjoyment.
Here, Kitty, by Quoth (qtheraven). PG. Data's going away on leave, and Riker, Geordi, and Worf conspire to put Spot with the vet so that they won't have to cat-sit. Hilarity ensues.
Somnabulism, by Quoth (qtheraven). NC-17. Sort of Data/Tasha. Data seems to be dreaming about Tasha, but it turns out he isn't. Dark and depressing.
Experimentation, by Bether. PG. F is for Failure. After the events of "The Naked Now," Data comes to Geordi to conduct further research on romantic relationships. Short and funny.
By Invitation Only, by pensnest. Unrated, but I'd say it's PG-ish. A planetary population is threatened by plague, and Data nearly gets married. A long, but delightful fic. Reads very much like an episode.
A Few Datas More, by pensnest. Unrated, but I'd say it's PG-15-ish. Data and Troi visit the holodeck in order to confirm that Worf's Ancient West program is running correctly. It isn't. Shenanigans ensue.
Historica, by Bianca MarOu (glazedmacguffin). Unrated, but I'd say it's PG-ish. Data is sent with an away team to investigate a mysterious planet called Historica that functions as a giant museum. There he finds something of his. Technically a cross-over, though...not really. Creepy and mysterious.
Like Something Out of Science Fiction, by Jedi Buttercup. PG. Cross-over with Firefly. Kaylee Frye is mesmerized by the pale-skinned, golden-eyed Mr. Data. An adorable fic, that captures Kaylee's machine-geek curiosity, yet doesn't make her interest in Data seem creepy or fetishy. Wonderful interactions between the two, and just a great little cross-over.
Prisoner's Dilemma, by eponymous_rose. PG. Ro and Picard discuss the Maquis for the last time. Short, but such a good Ro fic. I really wish I could find more Ro-centric stuff out there, because she's such a great character.
Experienced Sensory Perceptive, by Scarubbug. PG. The consequences of too much and too little can sometimes be found on exactly the same level. Deanna knows this. Wonderfully introspective Troi-centric fic, focusing on her Betazoid/Human duality. Heavily related to the events of "Tin Man."
London, by cosmic_llin. PG-13. Tracking a serial killer through an unstable time portal, Deanna and Will find themselves trapped in 21st-century London. Shenanigans do not ensue. A dark, gritty, and all-too realistic take on the time-travel conceit, plus a(nother) great take on Troi. Much like the above fic, there needs to be more good Troi stories like this out there.
With Your Empty Smile and Your Hungry Heart, by Thistlerose. PG-13. Turkana IV was going to kill her, she knew, if she didn't get out. Soon. Yar-centric fic. Something of a flashback fic, I guess? The end bit with Picard always gets me. Lovely, yet heart-breaking.
The Speed of Sound, by Kyra Cullinan. PG. Overtones of Picard/Crusher, but it's more like a character study. Beverly considers love, language, and loneliness. Short, but beautiful. The prose is very poetic without being purple in the least.
DS9
The Long Haul, by Yahtzee. Unrated, but I'd say it's PG-13. Kira-centric fic, set shortly before the Federation arrives at the station. Lovely, just a lovely character study. And I love the bits with Odo--I think it really captures their relationship.
Moments of Weakness, by babel. PG-13. After most of their friends have left, Kira and Bashir try to hold the station together. Slight Bashir/Kira if you care to see it, but really just a great take on the two of them.
Misremembering the Alamo, by loneraven. PG. Ezri wasn't bisexual before being joined with the Dax symbiont, and now she has to adjust. Ezri gets a lot of flack, but I do have a soft spot for her, and this is a great fic about her, and perhaps more interestingly, about just what being a joined Trill would be like, and what it would do to your personality.
Off the Record, by eponymous_rose. PG. History would take care of the Occupation's story. What Jake needed to do was find its heart. Great Jake-centric fic. He's a character that often gets overlooked, or else shunted off to the side, and this really plays up his strengths and depth.
And When the Night Is New, by eponymous_rose. PG-13. Four people and the Cardassian Revolution. Equally focused on Mila, Damar, Kira, and Garak. My favorite, favorite, favorite DS9 fic. It's just--gorgeous. But I might be a bit biased, since I love the Cardassian Revolution. And this fic fleshes it out beautifully.
Art Education, by Aurora West. G. Weyoun's instincts tell him that Tora Ziyal will pity him for his lack of a sense of aesthetics. A wonderful study of two characters not often seen in fanfic, and seen together even less. It's not a heavy fic by any means (neither in action nor angst), but it's...thinky in a soft, melancholic sort of way.
Lost and Found Out, by GreenWoman. Unrated, but I'd say G-ish. Odo angsts about Kira, and Molly O'Brien angsts about her impending new baby brother, and it's funny and melancholy and sweet, and basically makes me want Odo/Molly friendship fic for the rest of eternity.
