Hey, wow, late reply is late, but thank you so much! I'll never completely get over these two, and I'm so glad the "weight of nostalgia and memory" (as you so wonderfully phrased it), came across--in a weird way, it's one of my favorite things about them, because they have such HISTORY, and it is so COMPLICATED, UGH, full of such ups and downs. But at the same time, I do like to think their relationship has mellowed in the modern era. (Hungary has managed to look back at certain things with humor, and who knows?--maybe Austria will even manage the same sometime in the future. XD)
