Okay, I'm really supposed to be going to bed right now, but I gotta say something.
First - I'm a big Austria/Hungary fan, in a «Aw, they're just so sweet!» way.
This? This was different, bur I really dig it. Okay, maybe I'm a bit of a slut for fics that take place during WWII, but I just adored it. The description, the imagery, the emotion - beautiful.
It's not the way neither Hungary or Austria (dear god, I love your Austria) are usually portrayed, but it makes sense. You really made the link between the fact that they do care (love?) for each other, but there's also so much tension at that point... And the sex, even though it was short and sudden, felt very satisfying.
So yeah, this doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I should have just gone to sleep, but I just wanted to say that this was awesome. And thank you for sharing!
